Who pushed Bystander?
Well, lets be honest... who hasn't pushed Bystander somewhere,
whether he (or they) liked it or not. It has become something
very close indeed to an official tradition to see that the
individual known as Bystander spends as much time outside of the
ship, in the unforgiving vacuum of space, as reasonable possible.
It would appear, at times, that keeping him off the ship has been
more important than staving off some other terror, no matter how
hideous or hull-threatening it might be.
Tradition can be a very powerful motivator...
